Just finished reading it and I have to say that I enjoyed it a lot. I was really hooked by the story from the beginning. The love story between Alessandro and Holly was good. The world building is smooth and imaginative without being too forced. It was a really good urban fantasy read. My only comment is that there could have been a book before this detailing how Alessandro and Holly met. Ravenous started with the two of them already knowing each other and already in love but only not admitting it to themselves. I would gladly read a book telling the story of how they fell in love. A lot of times, it takes several books for the hero and the heroine to be together. Sometimes I feel that the authors are milking the chemistry until one gets tired of the whole thing. With Ravenous, I would like to read a book about their courtship for a change. That aside, the whole story still worked really well. I can't wait to read the next one.
