I had read the reviews before I purchased this and new it was going to be different from the "usual" Gary Moore. But I wasn't prepared for how much this album appealed to me. The sound was definitely different from what you would normally expect from Gary Moore but I liked pretty much everything about this record. I can see where some fans might not like the change but I really enjoyed it!
