American horror starring Adam West in which high school student Julie Wells (Meg Tilly) agrees to stay in a mausoleum overnight as part of an initiation process, in the hopes of getting accepted into an elitist group of friends called The Sisters. Julie is unaware that she is joined by two girls from the group, Carol (Robin Evans) and Kitty (Leslie Spights), who sneak back into the mausoleum after dropping Julie off in an attempt to frighten her by donning costumes and playing pranks on their hopeful member. The playful pranks soon come to an end, however, when an occultist is resurrected from the dead and begins to terrorise them, causing them to fight for their own survival.
this is movie making at its very best. why is it that people in the 80's knew how to make a great horror movies. this movie stars meg tilly and adam west, meg tilly plays a young girl wanting to join a group called ' THE SISTERS'. the head girl of the group just so happens to be her boyfreinds ex girlfreind, the other two girls are not so bad. to join she must spend the entire night in a mausoleum, not knowing that it has just been entombed with a e.s.p killer who drainend the life from young girls.the " THE SISTERS" drop off meg tilly, but return to frighten her,knowing they gave her a flashlight that somehow does not work and pills that make her freak out. they tell her they are sleeping pills but they aren't. this is a movie i bought for nearly $40.00 used. i had seen it a long time ago on vhs at a video store, but it is not available to be bought or ordered from anywhere. if you like a good scary down to earth movie this is the one. i dont see this one ever going to video. what is out there is from video stores that they rented at one time or another. i am glad i found my copy. i think i will go watch it.
