We use for Halloween decorating.The delivery was a bit long and the size was a bit surprising but Im an idiot because 10" isn't that large for the diameter.. maybe to some..Anyways I expected to receive what I see on the picture a dark blue lantern. I'm not saying I expected a midnight Blue nor did I mean navy blue, but especially not a bright light blue.Not at all what I expected. I ended up spray painting these lanterns to my perfect dark blue. F.Y.I. if you cannot find the right color, just buy whats close to it and get spray paint in matte or semi gloss and have at it.. I would just recommend buying all white ones but the closer you have to the color the least amount of spray paint you have to use. You may think it's a waste of time but to my crafty ladies its worth it. The lantern dries to become a much sturdier one.These did a fine job for what the were needed for. I hung them from the rafters at my wedding along with some light pink ones. The paper is very thin so you must be very careful when putting them together so you do not poke a whole in them. The wire center is flimsy and will appear bowed even when correctly in place. Also the color is a bit more yellow then I would have expected from an ivory lantern. Once up they work great and looked beautiful.These lanterns were perfect, classic ivory shade. I had looked high & low for a nontraditional "creamy" shade of white. These look beautiful in the room-- very elegant.I spent hundreds to put this space together and yet the under $2 purchase of these lanterns is truly what makes the room!I purchased 3 of these Ivory Chinese/Japanese Paper Lanterns to replace old ones on a lamp. The lanterns arrive promptly and in great shape. They are easy to attach to the lamp and look great. I would buy them again. Great price.Yup, for a couple of bucks this paper lantern works well over a 15 watt fluorescent bulb. It looks good, is easy to mount and blends well with any décor. Definitely a good buy.I used these (plus a few other colors) as wedding decorations and they looked amazing hanging from the trees in the orchard where we got married. I'd definitely buy more- great price, and they're pretty durable. Of course you could rip them pretty easily if you tried, since they're made of paper, but if you're gentle, you can get many uses out of them.
